For the last few weeks I have been preparing for the July Frome Open Art Trail. Now we are open and showing work from 86 artists in 30 venues in and around Frome.

At home we have 5 artists including myself showing work at ‘Art at No 60’ – Jen Hamblin, Cameron Scott, Geraldine McLoughlin and Steven Jenkins. For the first time I’m showing my painted terracotta pots.

Starting at the weekend SmartArt at Create#8 have an Art Open in Shepton Mallet. I am showing a few pieces there including the Firebird and the Golden Apples. The exhibition will run for 3 weekends starting on 12th July.

Sherborne Art open starts soon and I will be entering a few paintings there on Friday.

Back in Frome, I have had a painting selected for the Black Swan Open which will run from 27th July to 15th September. It is an oil sketch of a prayer plant with a Tang Dynasty horse.

In August I will be taking three selected paintings to show in the Bruton Art Society Open. The exhibition will be at the Memorial Hall, King’s Bruton, Saturday 17th – 24th August.
